The Tasmanian RSL Golf Challenge which is the major fundraising event for the Lenah Valley RSL welfare fund, was held on Sunday 6 March 2022.

The Challenge, first held in 2011, occurs in March each year at the Claremont Golf Club and is an 18 hole Ambrose event.

The 2022 Challenge attracted 21 Teams and the trophy winners were as follows:

• The Vern McTye Memorial Trophy (open to all RSL members - best nett):
  Mark Jones, Matt Fahey, Mick Lewis and Josh Willie
  
  
• The Don Ryan Memorial Trophy - The "Services Cup"  (open to all service members either current or ex service members - best nett):
  Noel Mills, Stan Walker, Eddie Ellerton and Paul Barrett
  
  
• The Mark McMichael Memorial Trophy (best gross):
  Craig Roden, Mark Vanderstaay, Nathan Haas and Phil Sargent

Major Sponsor JMC (Jackson Motor Company) offer a New Suzuki MUX for a hole in one however, participants were unsuccessful in claiming the prize again this year.
