80th Anniversary - Friday 27thFebruary 2026
The Lenah Valley RSL Sub Branch and Club turned 80 years old on Friday the 27th February 2026.
The event was a great success with about 100 in attendance, including visitors from other sub branches, relatives of founding members and many of our long serving members.

Club Patron Don Jeffrey recited the ODE and Noel Hunt played the Last Post and Rouse.
Lord Mayor Anna Reynolds gave a brief address on the long standing partnership between LVRSL and the City of Hobart council. RSL State President Mike Gallagher also addressed the members and guests. Peter Dane acted as MC and also provided a brief history of LVRSL.
LVRSL President Andrew McShane welcomed our guests and also later thanked everyone for attending.
The function was another great team effort and we would also like to thank those who helped organise the event, assisted in lead up and helped on the night. In no particular order they are:
